I cosplay for fun! I make costumes because I am an artist and I need to create something everyday or I get grumpy and anxious. Its my own version of creating fan art. Some people draw or paint their favorite fictional characters. I choose to create their clothes or armor and pretend I am them. If I am going to invest 150-300 hours into a video game or book series that I love, I feel entitled to create fan art to celebrate my love for that. I am not perfect. I am not a robot sitting at the sewing machine, I am a human and I make mistakes like everyone else. I have created costumes the way I wanted to and claimed they were styled after a certain character or set of armor. No where in real life or on the Internet have I claimed to have made the perfect replica of a costume. I can't control the way I look. I was born this way and I love my body. I have never considered cosmetic surgeries and I don't deprive myself of good food for the latest diet fad or think I have to lose weight. I welcome advice but I won't tolerate criticism on things I can't control.
I will never post photos of my boobs or ass and call it cosplay. If you watched my page to see stuff like that, your going to be disappointed. I'm classier than that.
This is not a rant at my followers. It's more of a "This is where I stand and I just want it to be known" statement. So THANK YOU for following me and watching my pages! If your reading this your genuinely interested in my cosplay efforts and you appreciate my style. I appreciate every moment you spend with me "virtually."

For the love of cosplay I taught myself how to sew and work on photoshop. I usually make pottery and that is still a priority that trumps any other project. Feel free to friend me or chit chat.

If you would like to see WIP photos of this costume you can visit my Facebook page at [link]

There's also an extensive How-to on my blog now: [link]

I also have an Etsy.com shop up now too: [link]

Friend me, add me, like me, circle me too as I'm on Google+ as well.

Here's a picture. [link]

In the Sword of Truth series(turned TV series by Sam Raimi, who did Xena), the Mord Sith are a group of women who guard the master of D'hara, specifically the Rahl bloodline. This explains it fully if you want to see it: [link]

If you want an all female version of the Dark Brotherhood, this would be them. They're deadly assassins. They're sexy. Astrid would have fit right in.
